L05 Cablecar Lager Yeast from Imperial Yeast
The classic strain for California Common style beers. Cablecar can produce clean pseudo lagers at ale temperatures but is also willing to work as a traditional lager strain down to the mid-50s. Not just limited to steam beers/California commons, this strain works well in a variety of fermentations, keeping flavor profiles clean and crisp. This yeast strain is comparable to Wyeast #2112 California Lager and White Labs San Francisco Lager WLP810.
