This tilting frame basket press is appropriate for pressing both apples and grapes. The metal press plate can be tilted away from the basket allowing for a easy loading. The tilt frame also allows our apple cutter or grape crushers to be placed directly on top of the basket. Extra hands may be necessary for stability if this approach is used. If you intend to use the press for apples, a nylon pressing bag should be used to ensure the apple pulp does not escape through the basket staves. The basket has a 5 gallon capacity. To complete your cider mill, see the apple cutter WE30. For white wine, see the grape crushers such as WE12. For red wine, a crusher/destemmer will be needed but cannot be mounted on the press.

Request for refunds occurring more than 30 days after the date of purchase on non-defective goods may be granted as a store credit if the goods are returned in their original condition. Yeast is perishable and should be refrigerated on arrival. No refunds are allowed on sales of living organisms such as yeast and bacteria.
