By default, all grains in an order will be packed together in one bag.  If you wish for the grains to be packed into separate bags, please add the "Pack all my grains separately" item to the cart.

Qty:

Brown malt is dried for about two hours until temperatures reach 212F (100C). It is then cured for about 20 minutes as temperatures rise to about 356F (180C), depending on the color required. The resulting malt imparts a strong, dark-toasted grain flavor, slightly nutty with a hint of bitter chocolate.  It is a old-style English malt which is essential for producing an authentic traditional Porter.
