  • About: Tettnang is one of the traditional "noble hops" from Germany, along with Hallertau, Saaz, and Spalt. It is named for a town in the far south of Germany where it is grown. It has a subtle bittering flavor, and aromas that include a mix of floral, fruity, herbal and spicy – fresh herbs, grass, dried flowers, citrus peel, black tea. It is ideally suited for use in Pilsner-style lagers, and similar beers. It is also used well in German Wheat beers and Belgian Ales.
