Chinook steam distilled essential oil, made from fresh hops (not dried or processed), brings the ever-popular blend of mountain pine, citrus and grapefruit, and herbal/spice notes for which this hop is beloved. For use in a hop water, we recommend adding Mango flavoring, as well, for a more rounded and satisfying blend.

Estimated Calories: 30-35 calories.

Ingredients:

16 oz Cup full of ice

2 tsp Simple Cane Sugar Syrup

1 drop of Distilled Essential Hop Oil

Optional: 1 drop of Mango Flavoring

Carbonated-Acidified Sparkling Water (instructions in Sparkling Water article)

Method

Fill your cup with ice. Measure 2 tsp of Simple Cane Sugar Syrup and pour it in. Top with carbonated-acidified sparkling water. Add a drop or two of Distilled Essential Hop Oil and stir. Enjoy!

I usually make tea from hops but it's summer so I wanted something to add to sparkling cold water. This stuff is PERFECT. You can flavor gallons with just this 4ml bottle. I just use a drop in a 12-16ml bottle of sparkling water and it even has sedative effects like normal hops.
