HOP RHIZOMES are underground stems of the hops plant that puts out lateral shoots which produce the hops bine. Hop rhizomes are available for pre-order in February through April (for 2025 the order cutoff date is April 15). All rhizomes offered are female. All are harvested in Oregon. Orders are subject to availability and you may expect delays in shipment until the appropriate time of harvest. You will be notified when shipment is taking place. Rhizomes will be shipped via US Priority Mail when applicable.
RECOMMENDATION FOR BEGINNERS: Cascade, Magnum and Nugget are some of the easiest varieties to grow and do well in our Sonoma County region.
