Light Lager - Bohemian Pilsner
5 lbs. Light Dry Malt
1 lb. German Pilsener Malt
1/10 tsp. Gypsum
1/10 tsp. Calcium Chloride
1/5 tsp. Chalk
1 tsp Irish Moss
2 1/2 oz. Saaz Hop Pellets (60 min.)

2 oz. Saaz Hop Pellets
(5 min.) 4.28 IBU
Distilled or De-ionized Water to
5 gallons
3/4 cup Corn Sugar for priming
1 pack #WLP800, or #2007 Yeast
S.G. 1.048 IBU 35.28
All grains are mashed together for 45 minutes at 150 F., and then rinsed. Use distilled, de-ionized or reverse osmosis water. Boil for an hour. Note: For an all-grain version, substitute 8 1/4 lbs. German Pilsener Malt for the Light Dry Malt in the above recipe. Mash all grains for 90 minutes and sparge. Boil for 90 minutes.
